A. A custom airbrush tan is the most realistic looking sunless tan without the harmful UV rays from the sun and tanning beds. The results are even, natural and last about 10 days, and sometimes up to 14 days, depending on how well you prepare for and maintain your sunless tan. Say goodbye to streaks, orange hands, blotchy patches, and over-saturated knees and elbows. Airbrush tanning offers a precise and natural color on tricky areas of the body and YOU get to choose the level of tan you wish to achieve.
A. We will come to your desired location with everything needed for the service, including a pop-up tent to stand in while being airbrushed, so as to avoid creating a mess to clean up after the sunless tanning service. We will apply the natural sunless tanning formula onto your body with an HVLP spray gun. The main ingredient, dihydroxyacetone – DHA – is a non toxic sugar compound that reacts with the amino acids on your skin’s outermost layer to create a browning effect.
A. Yes. The main ingredient in the sunless tanning solution is known as DHA. DHA is a simple non-toxic sugar and is derived from plant sources such as sugar beet and sugar cane. DHA was first used as a sugar substitute in the 1920’s.
A. The average tan lasts between 7 and 14 days! Factors such as skin type, activities/lifestyle, workout routine, and maintenance can cause results to vary.
A. An average session takes about 20-30 minutes, including set up and take down time. The application process alone takes 10 minutes.
A. No. During the session, you will stand in a pop up tent. We use an HVLP spray gun, and there is very little over spray. Once the solution has been applied, the tent will be disassembled, and you are free to go about your day!
A: We recommend lotioning your body every day with a non-oil based lotion such as Cetaphil or Hemp lotion.
A. There is no such thing as an 100% organic spray tan. There’s no regulation against saying you’re offering one, so businesses use the term to assume quality and superiority of product. That’s just not the case. Ask to see ingredients when someone offers an “organic spray tan”- if there is fragrance, bronzer, dha, or dyes in the solution, it’s not organic in accordance to guidelines put out by the FDA. The solution that I use is all natural, non toxic, fragrance free, alcohol free, nut free, cruelty free, & vegan.
